The bus from Mandla to Kanha... Slow for the route, but gives you a good taste of the rural MP. One of the best rides of my MP trip last year!

Hard to believe but there were a total of 6 Vinods on that train that evening who were assigned to various bogies!

Its funny how in India, a train might be running between a few states, but you might end up meeting the entire country in it!

Gondwana Express is a perfect train if you want to visit Kanha or Bandhavgarh National Parks in MP. Get down at Katni (around 5 in the morning) for Bandhavgarh
Get down at Jabalpur and take a bus to Kanha via Mandla or a taxi

Just when you think you have seen enough, Old Delhi presents you with something that you will remember for long!

What you see here is a small shop somewhere in the bylanes where you get fresh buttermilk along with fresh white butter sprinkled with fresh fried cumin seeds between bread slices!

I bet no one can have enough in one helping!

The Parthenon is known to be a temple of the Greek Goddess Athena built in the 5th century BC.
What you see in this photograph is the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee US. This was built in 1897 and is a full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens.
