I feel that Landscapes look much better in BW.. have started feeling this lately though... and now sure how long I am going to continue feeling this way.... but this shot taken @ Darcha enroute to Leh from Manali is letting me feel that way for the time being !!! 
After school... isn't it kinda hard to recognise our own bags and books :)

Fotu clicked on a road-side tea-stall near Lansdowne in June'06... Cigarettes for some reason always are present everywhere... just like tea :)
This should have been a much close shot... but the limited zoom that my lens gives me kept me away from the actual result...maybe sometime when i have the much awaited 90-400 mm lens i will take a similar shot and post it :)

Water is one of the most beautiful subjects.... there is so much about water that all photographs in this world together cannot capture...
It would have been much better to have a kid on this super fast beauty... but then I waited for someone to come and join the race... no one turned up and hence the title :)
Smiles can be found anywhere.. I found these 40 kms away from Lansdowne at a place where they know heat, dust, rain, cold more then us living in the cities.... and still... they had the smiles that I can only dream of... one of the best moments I have ever captured on camera !!!

The house caught my attention in McLeodganj.... nicely painted red doors and windows... a li'il bit of post processing with channel mixtures highlights what i liked about the house...
The Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, one of my favorite places on the India Tour... Coming from Salt Lake to Robindra Shodon was worth it in that shared cab everytime...
Masjid Fatehpuri stands on the western end of Chandni Chawk and faces the Red Fort in Delhi... Chandni Chawk is one of the best places in Delhi to eat street food and shop... and now with the Metro connecting the walled city... the trip is better then ever....
Picture taken on the trip to Shimla.. this guy was standing on some poles which were very very delicately balanced... i am sure it looked easy but it was very tough to stand there and do all this work...
one of the most interesting pair of shoes i have ever seen.... a split second decision to capture the shoes turned out to be a gamble i won... the movement got captured just the right way too....
there is so much that eyes speak... they talk about style.. they tell about the comfort... they ask questions!!!
this is from the trip to shimla as well.... i requested him to stop for a photograph... and i was stunned to see how still he was standing... as if he was a statue or something... i have never in my life seen someone stand that still...
look at those eyes.... everyone who will look at them would have something to say about them.. the feelings.. the emotions are soo deep in them ....
