Relax

What comes to my mind when I hear this word is

1. My jeans
2. My Kurta
3. Sitting in the park, under a tree, on a bench, lying down
4. Doing nothing
5. Staring at the sky
6 Counting the stars
7. Follow the leaves the wind blows
8. Have a cup of tea on a road side stall
9. Standing at the door of a train compartment when the train is moving and staring into space
10. Being myself...

Hope you have a "just what you like" relaxing weekend !!! Amen !

Hope...

You don't see much of it in focus mostly, but what ever you see is good enough to hold on to !!!

To BE or (K)not to be...

The Sound of Romance...

The long trinnnnggg and the rush to pick up the phone before anyone else picks it up, the cheer when it was her, and the dissapointment when it was for dad...

The not knowing when she will call again, and the not knowing who will pick if I called...

The blank Calls and the smiles that followed... the short calls the empty it left...

I miss the Sound of Romance !

Live Statue...

Seen at the Trafalgar Square in London. A very popular place in case you want to see a lot of pigeons together !!!

Personally, I feel that London pigeons are very lazy... most of them just don't want to fly :)

The Grass is Greener on my side of the fence :)

Enjoy !

We are made of threads...

The threads can be of our experiences, our thoughts, our feelings etc etc and what comes out is the cloth of one's self...

Seen here is an old loom from one of the pit stops from day trip of Scotland last year in August.

National Monument - Edinburgh

The National Monument in Edinburgh is a memorial to those who died in Napoleonic Wars and is located on the top of Carlton Hill. It was supposed to be a replica of Parthenon, however due to lack of funds only one side of the construction was completed.

When they say, Sky is the Limit...

I don't quite believe it !!!

Seen here is the sky from Loch Ness, arguably the most popular lake in Scotland and maybe the world as well because of the tales of Nesse, the dragon. A day tour of the beautiful country of Scotland is incomplete without a visit and the ferry ride in Loch Ness.

Anamorphed Lives...

What looks distorted might be picture perfect... what is needed is the right point of view !!!

p.s. The Word Anamorph is from the Greek Ana(again) and morphe(form). It refers to a distorted image that can only be formed again with the aid of a curved mirror (Anamorphoscope).

Seen here is an Anamorph from one of the best galleries I have ever been to, Camera Obscura, Edinburgh, Scotland...

London Diaries : House of Parliament

As seen from the River Thames...the Big Ben can be seen in the background as well...

Sound Magnets

He is the lead drummer of the scottish band Clanadonia... Me and Abhishek were walking around in Edinburgh (Queen's Mile) when the sounds from the drums and pipes of Clanadonia made us figure out what was happening. The next 30 minutes were more than what my words can justify. Please do visit their site and listen to a few samples. I feel good to have a CD of their performance. Something that peps me up without fail every time I listen to it...

History..

One look at these buildings and you know they are not new... The character, the feel, the grandeur is just magnificient to look at...

Seen here is are a few buildings from the Queen's Walk next to River Thames in London.

Manchester Skies...

Manchester, the home to Man-U and Man-City Football Clubs is more like a city of castles and larger than life buildings... Walking around the town was very similar to how I feel when I walk in the BBD Bagh area of Calcutta...

Its the time piece that grows older...

not TIME..
