Another Experimental still.. taken the same evening... had to be taken on a high ISO to get it like this... there is a lot of grain still... what are your best ways to take night shots when you do not have the luxury of a tripod?

One of the first experimentals with the new Camera... I like the result... there is more to come and at the same time, i realised that there is sooooo much that i can do with this... this still was captured yesterday night around 0030 hrs and the blue light is the light of my computer LEDs.

The world is full of examples where someone strarted from being a nothing to something, thanks to the dedication, the passion to do something different, and the need to excel. All such people had a point to prove to themselves, and to the world.

Think of someone who started as a bartender who used to serve the "who is who" of the fasion industry in Palm Beach... and while he was struggling to feed his own family, he started investing whatever he could in collecting ties... Something that he picked up from emulating his high-end clientele...
This is how his idea gave birth to a company... this guy's name is Belisi and it was not long before everyone around him was looking upto him for inspiration... What started has aa hobby took turns and soon enough, what Belisi made started getting appreciation from his clients and the Belisi brand was now being used to enhance luxury wardrobes, and at the same time was making the world a better place.

And with every purchase someone made from the Belisi brand, he or she was making a contribution to fighing poverty, saving the environment, and funding medical research...

An apt example of giving it back to the world...

I met her in McLeodganj. She is Zema which means happiness in some language... and the rest you can see for yourself...

I was in Mcleodganj, this May, and though it was a quick weekend trip, it was packed with a lot of things... a trek to Triund, local sight seeing, and a perfectly relaxed half a day at a JJI Cafe... it had all I could ask for on a trip...

Time for me to graduate from only posting pictures on this blog to write here as well...

I have recently bought a canon400D and I would like to actively start learning photography as well... What I want to do is, ensure that what I learn, I keep writing here too.. so that the people who are regular on this page can read about things that I am learning...

Now that one has a website, and one starts posting things, uploading pictures, writing articles, reviewing movies, telling the world about his/her daily life... what next... when you have multiple instances of a similar thing happening, there is bound to be a rating system which helps one differentiate the importance of one page over the other... The best way to do have an edge over sites. blogs, pages, etc over others is to increase link popularity.

Googles sets standards in how important a webpage or website is by giving it a page rank... It runs a very complex algoritm, but more or less it works on two things...

1- How many pages with good page ranks link to you?
2- How high up on the search results are you?

Now thats not all i guess.. because the point number 2 is more or less related to one as well...

Page Rank
Latent Symantec Indexing etc...

Arobindo, one of my dearest friends ever... I do not know what was going on in his mind when I clicked this... I remember not being able to reach the Valley of Flowers because of a big dangerous glacier, and Aro in this picture is looking in the direction of the valley itself...

Mountains full of Red Flowers of Buransh all over...

I loved the sunsets in Bhopal and Mumbai when I was there in these two cities... could not click a lot of them in Bhopal, but in Mumbai things were different... i managed to click a few good pics of the sunset... this is one of them....
