I differentiate between Character and Behavior... and personally feel that you can be simple when you are simple by Character, the behavior can keep changing by time and because of the circumstances you go through !!

Just FYI...

since we are talking about simplicity...there is was a very famous architect from germany Mies Van De Rohe - his blds used to be stark and simple and he qouted - Less is More...
