    Stunning pic....just as usual (hope you dont mind) if it was a little to the right where the boat that is close to the lower corner was full and the upper left bridge was left cut....would have expanded the focus

    many thanks for your comment.. this is a 2 year old picture, the time when I really did not know much about photography, however I feel that if the umbrella in the front was towards the centre, it might not have looked like a part of the whole environment... i am not sure, but they are my thoughts, though I agree that some bit of boats should have been there to capture the essence of the place !!

    next time I go to Banaras, I will click this again :)

    I agree with what you say.

    This is just from a composition point of view...that if you moved just a little right where there is a boat that is cut near the umbrella was captured fully..leaving the umbrella in almost the same place

    but even then the pic is stunning
